Flexoflash is a premium lead free flashing solution designed for all standard roof flashing installations. Manufactured in Europe, it comes with a comprehensive 20-year warranty and boasts the highest UV resilience of any lead free flashing available on the market today.

Flexoflash is a premium lead free roof flashing. Crafted from an extruded Polymer rubber known as Polyisobuthylene (PIB), Flexoflash possesses a unique self-fusing capability when overlapped. This allows Flexoflash to form a continuous watertight and airtight seal. Internally, Flexoflash includes an aluminium mesh that provides rigidity and a lasting memory when dressed to the roof surface. Flexoflash is backed by a fully self-adhesive butyl layer, ensuring a completely watertight seal. With a three-dimensional stretch capacity (up to 80% in length and 30% in width), Flexoflash is engineered to replace traditional lead flashing across all its traditional applications and seamlessly integrates with any roofing material for a smooth finish.

Flexoflash not only adheres with butyl on overlaps, it also chemically bonds to itself on even small overlaps of 40mm to create a watertight and airtight seal.

HIGHEST UV TESTING OF ANY LEAD FREE ROOF FLASHING ON THE MARKET

Flexoflash has successfully completed an 18,000-hour UV exposure test in accordance with EN 1297 standards. This rigorous test simulates prolonged outdoor exposure, equivalent to over 24 years under an 8-hour UV cycle at 50°C and a 2-hour water cycle. This extensive testing far surpasses standard UV assessments, demonstrating Flexoflash’s exceptional durability in high UV environments. This makes it particularly suitable for regions with intense sun exposure and harsh conditions, such as Australia.

In contrast, other flashings on the market, which are UV-tested for only 2,000 hours, may be more susceptible to degradation over time in extreme climates without additional maintenance.

Flexoflash’s superior UV resilience and polyisobutylene (PIB) composition ensure exceptional performance stability, particularly in coastal or high-sun regions. This gives it a significant advantage in applications demanding prolonged durability compared to other flashings, which can be based on modified silane (MS) polymers. These polymers combine the properties of silicone and polyurethane but are only UV-tested for 2,000 hours.
