SMARTFORM Flashing, the lightest, fastest, most flexible flashing out there!
Last year we launched SMARFORM which is a unique creped (crimpled) Aluminium flashing that has the ability to stretch along the length of the roll by up to 60%. The underside has a 100% covering of Butyl adhesive which adheres to any roofing material. The rolls areall 5m in length and are available in 200mm, 300mm & 450mm widths. All sizes come in the traditional grey, black and terracotta colour profiles.
Due to the creped surface it has unparalleled performance to cover extreme roof profiles from corrugated metal roof sheets to concrete roof tiles. Its ability to stretch means it can even be dressed 360 degrees around any roof penetration and ad-hoc applications such as roof pipes and penetrations, air vents, air conditioners, evaporation coolers, bull noses and guttering. It’s so versatile it can be used on roofs as traditional new build flashing as easily as it’s used for maintenance work. In fact there are some many possible uses we can’t list them all here, but to give you some ideas here are some key applications for the trades
- Flashing under facia onto tile or metal roofs.
- Installing it under existing flashings such as lead to resolve leaks from existing cracks.
- Lining box gutter to increase their life expectancy
- Flashing between the main house roof onto the veranda or carport
SMARTFORM is one of the lightest roll flashings available on the market so it can be moved and used in any awkward situation, cut to any size easily with a pair of scissors and dressed into position within minutes just by hand.
